Donald Arlin Sheffield

Donald Arlin Sheffield, 70, of Trumann, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at Rose Skil Care Nursing Center in Jonesboro where he lived for one day.

Born in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Mr. Sheffield lived many years in St. Louis where he was transportation supervisor for National Food Company. He later lived in Paragould before moving to Trumann.

Mr. Sheffield was a U.S. Army veteran and was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Sheffield, a sister: Eva Pauline Smith, and by a grandson: Luke Wiggins.

Survivors include:

2 Daughters: Nonie Wiggins of Jonesboro, and Michelle Conrad of Cedar Rapids, Iowa;

1 Sister: Ruth Jackson of Jonesboro;

2 Brothers: Doyle Sheffield of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and Lloyd Sheffield of Lake Havasupai, Arizona; and

8 Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro.

Visitation will follow the memorial service in Emerson Chapel.
