Donald Albert Eshenroder Jr.

Donald Albert Eshenroder Jr, 56, of Jonesboro passed away Friday January 2, at St. Bernards.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and lived in Jonesboro for two and a half years, moving here from Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was of the Catholic faith; member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He devoted his work life to the printing industry both in Arkansas and Missouri. Upon retirement he was an avid bird watcher.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Albert Eshenroder Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years; Glenda Eshenroder of the home.

One son; Edward E. Gann III and wife Melissa of Jonesboro.

Two daughters; Dr. Donna Suzann Tisch and husband Tom of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Sonya M. McClure and husband Christopher of Jonesboro.

Three brothers; William Eshenroder and wife Barbara of St. Louis, Missouri.
David Eshenroder and wife Kim of St. Louis, Missouri
Jim Eshenroder and wife Angela of Camdenton, Missouri.

Mother; Bernadine Eshenroder of Lake of the Ozarks. One sister, Linda Eshenroder of St. Louis, Missouri.

Seven grandchildren; Ashley Michelle Gann, Courtney Brooke Gann, Nicholas (E.W.) Gann, Emily Danielle Gann, Lauren Michelle Mavros, Maria J. Perez and Baby McClure on the way.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday January 5, 2009 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with Father Mark Wood officiating. Burial will be at the Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Alton, Missouri, Tuesday January 6, 2009 with a Graveside service at 11:00 A.M.; with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active pallbearers will be William Eshenroder, David Eshenroder, Jim Eshenroder, Tom Tisch, Edward E. Gann III, and Jerry Lane.

Visitation will be from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday January 4, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro, with a Rosary said at 6:00 P.M.
