Don Robert Wagner departed this life on June 4, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on May 5, 1952, in Jonesboro.

Don was saved and baptized at a young age at Passmore's Church in the river. He enjoyed spending time at the casino, watching westerns and wrestling, and most of all, being with his family and friends. Don was known for his generous heart and helping spirit. He was the kind of person who would show up whenever someone needed a hand and would gladly give the shirt off his back to help another.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Alberta Clayton; his sister, Ann Clayton; his brothers, Cletus “Skeeter” Meaders and William Clayton; and his brothers-in-law, Jackie West and Ronnie West.

Don leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Doris Wagner; his stepson, Burt Butler; his sisters, Rebecca West, Darvena West, and Sherry Clayton; numerous nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
