Dollie Jokerst Grass

June 19, 1926 — March 5, 2010

Dollie Jokerst Grass, 83, of Jonesboro, died Friday morning at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Perryville, Missouri, Mrs. Grass lived in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, before moving to Jonesboro in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of Westvale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Grass, her second husband, Leroy Jokerst, and two sisters, Virginia Vinson and Hazel Vessel.

Survivors include: 7 daughters: Debrah Fedick of New York, and Melinda Baker, Tina Grass, Nancy Rayburn, and Jackie Bailey, all of Jonesboro, and Mary Day of Missouri, and Rebecca Stump of St. Louis;

3 sons, Joe Jokerst of Enid, Oklahoma, Rick Jokerst of Compton, Illinois, and Jim Jokerst of Jonesboro;

1 sister, Jewell Morretto of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri;

Several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve with Todd Vinson officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
