Dollie Mae Adams

Dollie Mae Adams, 76, of Jonesboro, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on December 22, 1948, in Jonesboro to the late Traul and Delphia Vickery.

Dollie was a hardworking woman who found joy in her family, her home, and the beauty of nature. She loved her grandchildren deeply and treasured the time spent with family. Her passion for working in her yard, tending to flowers, trees, and plants, brought her much happiness.

In addition to her parents, Dollie was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Jude Ryan Morgan, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Derrel Adams of Jonesboro; her sons, Dewayne Mangrum (Jeannie) of Trumann, Dwight Mangrum of Harrisburg, and Joey Mangrum of Lunsford; her daughters, Angela Burgess (Robert) of Bay and Christy Thomas (Brandon) of Bay; and her brother, Harold Snyder (Elaine) of Trumann.

Dollie also leaves behind several cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.

A graveside service to honor Dollie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Pine Log Cemetery.

Dollie will be remembered for her steadfast love, her nurturing spirit, and her dedication to her family and home. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
