Dianne Kennedy, 82, of Lake City, moved from her lifetime home in Forrest City to live with her children three years ago. She was born in Forrest City on March 31, 1942, to Howard and Willie Mae McGee. She was a member of the Widener Baptist Church in Widener, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, “Dub” Kennedy, of the home; son, Huey Kennedy of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; daughters, Billie Jean Moore and husband Tony of Lake City; Shirley Ann Hooks and husband Robert of Mountain View; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Widener Baptist Church in Widener with Gary Woodard officiating. All other services will be private.
