Dianne Allen

Sherrill “Dianne” Allen, 75, of Brookland, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born on August 13, 1949, in Paragould, Arkansas, to the late Harvey “Red” and Mirene Cooper.

A devoted member of New Antioch Baptist Church in Brookland, Dianne cherished her church and the close-knit bonds she shared with her church family. She had a passion for working in her yard, enjoyed crafting, and found great joy in spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.

Dianne was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, Wayne, Larry Don, and Tommy Cooper, as well as her sisters, Emma Dell Danley and Loretta Allen.

She is survived by her son, Jason Allen (Tennille); her daughters, Denice Melton (Tommy) and Sherri Bailey (David); her brother, David Cooper; and her sisters, Bruxie Myshka, Imogene Curtis, Sharon Hollis, Debbie Cooper, and Charolette King. Dianne also leaves behind nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

The visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 on Wednesday prior to the service at New Antioch Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at New Antioch Baptist Church, with Elmer Ash officiating.

Dianne's love, kindness, and devotion to her family and faith will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
