Diann Gargaro

E. Diann (Nan) Gargaro, 78, of Bono, departed this life Sunday, August 11, 2024.  Born October 18, 1945, to the late Hubert and Wilenia Smith.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and granny.  For more than 50 years Diann was a member of Old Enterprise General Baptist Church and worked 30+ years as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block.

Diann is preceded in death by her loving husband David, parents Hubert and Wilenia Smith,  brother Hershel Smith, and sister Patsy Puckett.  She is survived by son David Gargaro (Candy); daughter, Michelle Wilcox (Lance); two granddaughters Kelsi Price (Caleb) and Davanna Dement (Kiley); brother, Dwight Smith (Connie); sister, Carol Burdyshaw and several nieces and nephews .

Visitation will be held at Emerson Funeral Home, Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Old Enterprise Cemetery officiated by Brother Bobby Wade.  Pallbearers are Paul Gambill, Brian House, Brad House, Caleb Price, Kiley Dement, and Bryce Burdyshaw.  Honorary Pallbearers Tommy Cox, Lance Wilcox and David Gargaro.
