Diane Throgmartin

Diane Patricia Throgmartin, 71, of Hardy, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born in Chicago, Diane lived most of her life in Northeast Arkansas. She was a 1967 graduate of Trumann High School and worked several years for Methodist Hospital of Jonesboro.  Diane was of the Baptist faith but attended Community Fellowship Church in Jonesboro.

Diane enjoyed traveling, shopping and fishing.  She also enjoyed social media, reading and studying the Bible and television documentaries pertaining to nature. Diane was a good listener and  known for her good advice on many subjects. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elbert and Beulah Faye Jacobs Throgmartin, husband Keith Raymond and brother Kenny Throgmartin.

Survivors include:

1 daughter, Christie Walker of Jonesboro;

1 son, Donovan (Alicia) Patterson of Paragould;

1 sister, Cathy Vuncannon of Jonesboro;

1 brother, Danny (Patty) Throgmartin of Jonesboro;

5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter;

several great grandchildren;

several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces; and

her caregiver and very close friend, Christina Cauley;

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening in Emerson Memorial Chapel with grandson Christopher Patterson officiating. Visitation will precede the memorial service from 5:00-6:00.
