Diane Masterson

Cheryl Diane Masterson, 72, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, July 5 ^th , 2018. She was born October 1, 1945 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Hershel and Mable Brock.

Diane lived most of her life in Jonesboro with her loving husband and family. Her and Wayne had been Happily married for 56 years. Diane enjoyed reading her bible and taking care of her animals. She devoted her life to her children. Diane was a compassionate, loving, giving, and nurturing wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be greatly missed.

Diane is survived by her husband, Wayne Masterson of Jonesboro; sons, Greg and Brent “Baby Boy” Masterson of Jonesboro; daughter, Melissa West (Jerry) of Henderson, AR; one granddaughter, Shaila Masterson of Jonesboro and one sister, Kay Wood of Georgia.

A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home with Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Wayne Masterson, Greg Masterson, Jerry West, Jerrod Slayton, Larry Burcham, and Donnie Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers will include: Don Bridger, Dr. Darrell Ragland, Dr. Ben Owens, Craighead County Court Security Officers, Craighead County Sherriff’s Department, and Jonesboro Fire Department.
