Diana Fowler Nagel, 64, of Little Rock died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at her home. She was born February 27, 1947 in Jonesboro to the late Hubert Birton & Melba Taylor Fowler.
Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Allison & Jack Bailey of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Sophie and Billy Bailey; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley & James Orman of Jackson, Tennessee; and her brother, Dr. James Fowler of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Diana graduated from Jonesboro High School in the class of 1965. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 1969 with a Master of Science in Education degree. She taught at West Elementary in Jonesboro for 7 years and then in the Little Rock Public School District for 18 years.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mike Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Rich Nagel, Andy Fowler, Marvin Kee, Jerry Welch, Jerry Taylor, and Robert Kee.
Visitation will be Monday 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
