Dewey Lee
Wilson
Mar 9, 1960 — Jul 8, 2026
Dewey Lee Wilson Jr., 66, of Wynne, passed away at his home on July 8, 2026. Dewey was born in Trumann on March 9, 1960, to the late Dewey Sr. and Sadie Littles. In addition to his parents, Dewey was preceded in death by his sisters, Kay Armstrong, Elizabeth Wilson, and Carol Pinner; his son, Anthony Lee Wilson; and his mother-in-law, Frances Throgmorton, and father-in-law, Ellis Throgmarton.
Dewey was born and raised in Northeast Arkansas, where he spent most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and camp. In his younger years, Dewey and his wife frequented Lake Poinsett, but as time went on, Heber became the place to be. He had many memories of camping with his family in Heber and enjoying the lake. Most importantly, Dewey took pride in his family. With a chocolate donut in hand, he had no problem babysitting for the day. Dewey will be greatly missed by friends and loved ones alike.
Dewey is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pamela Wilson; son, Jason Ray Wilson (Courtney), of Vandale; daughter, Katina Renee Suthrlen (Jason), of Wynne; sister, Paula Lamberson, of Trumann; grandchildren, Charles, Clayton, and Destiny Ragland; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
