Dewey F. Boone, 80, of Jonesboro went to be with our Lord and Savior Friday, September 8, 2017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He served in the USAF from 1954 to 1962. Dewey was a 32 ^nd degree Mason. He retired from the Arkansas School for the Deaf as a dorm parent. Dewey was an ordained Deacon and a member of Valley Ridge Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Dewey S. Boone; mom, Bertha Boone and sister, Jo Ann Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Patricia Boone; daughter, Kelly Sexton (Stephen); granddaughter, Lindsey Robinson (Joe); grandson, Brodey Sexton and great granddaughter, Raeleigh Robinson.

Funeral service will be Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bobby Floyd officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
