Dewayne Mounce

DeWayne Mounce, 68, of Jonesboro, died January 14, 2013 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of the Windover Baptist Church. DeWayne was an accomplished piano player and played at the Henry Harlan Senior Citizen’s Community Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Floella Mounce.

Survivors include his wife of 11years, Jo Ann Mounce of the home; sons, Danny Mounce (Melissa) of Jonesboro; Keith Sneed (Spring) of Caraway; daughters, Stacy Palmer of Jonesboro; Heather Wildy of Bono; brothers, Larry Mounce (Javene) of Springdale; Michael Mounce (Casey) of Jonesboro; sisters, Jeanie Walker; Linda :Lamar; Phyllis Coleman (Jimmy) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, Christen, Jacey, Sydney, Kathryn and one great grandchild, Bentley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Win Bridges officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Clyde Watson, Tony Lewis, Gary Workman, Paul Graham, Nathan Coleman, and Larry Mounce Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Delmas Frye, James Dean, Marshall Wildy, Jerry Sullins and Jerry Shaver. Visitation will be form 5-7 Thursday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
