Dewayne Madison "Matt" Parnell, 49, of Finch, Arkansas passed from his earthly life on Monday, February 5, 2024. He was born on February 10, 1974 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center to Mary Carolyn Culbreath Parnell and Roger Neal Parnell.
Matt graduated from Nettleton High School in 1992. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was young. Matt successfully owned and operated Superior Plumbing for 15 years. He loved to hunt, fish, look for arrowheads, watch Arkansas Razorbacks Football, and NASCAR Racing.
Matt is preceded in death by his father, Roger Neal Parnell.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Parnell of Bay; daughter, Sarah (Madison) Parnell of Bay; brother, Tony (Wendie) Parnell of Paragould; his beloved four-legged friends, Echo, Jax, Abigail Rain Claire, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jay Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery with active Pallbearers being Derek Parnell, Landon Parnell, Rodney James, David Fagan, Joshua Parnell and Kenny Vickers.
Honorary Pallbearers are Aaron Townsand, Anthony Tevlin, Cody Williams, Steve Griffin, Chris Parnell, Wesley Parnell, Scott Taylor, Shannon Simino, Lyle Kennedy and Anchors Landing R.V. Community.
