Devonda Jean Sammons

Devonda Jean Sammons, 70, of Trumann passed from this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born to the late Devon and Jean Martin on March 6, 1953 in St. Louis. Devonda was a LPN in her younger years and used her knowledge to help start an exercise class at The Plantation in Trumann where she lived. She enjoyed living at The Plantation and had many friends there. In addition to her parents, Devonda is preceded in death by her brothers, Dewayne “Butch” Martin and Kevin Douglas “Marty” Martin.

Devonda is survived by her daughter, Schuyler Sammons of Little Rock. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn her loss.
