Dessie Mae Byais

Dessie Mae Byais, 58, of Jonesboro, transitioned Tuesday, October 24, 2023, to her Heavenly reward.  She was born to Eddie Northern and Kathern McLemore Northern on February 10, 1965 in Blytheville.  Dessie loved her family dearly and was such a kind and loving woman.  She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.

Dessie is survived by her husband, Bernard Byais Sr of Jonesboro; her three children, Lacretia and James Belcher II, Bernard Byais Jr. and Tiffany Byais; her grandson, Jace Belcher; all of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bennie Northern and Jimmie Northern of Blytheville; sisters, Jacqueline (Donald) Moore of Montgomery, Alabama; Parlee (James) Purnell and Jannie Northern of Wynne, Arkansas.
