Dennis Thaddius Drozdz

Dennis Thaddius Drozdz, 63, or Houston, Texas, died Sunday, July 18, 2010. He was a highly decorated helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart and two Distinguished Flying Cross. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Drozdz.

Survivors include his father, Theodore Drozdz Sr., Jonesboro; brother, Theodore V. Drozdz Jr. and his wife Cheryl, West Warwick, Rhode Island; sisters, Karin Sue Ameika, and husband, James, Jonesboro; and Suzy Leonard, Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, July 23, 2010, at First United Methodist Church Chapel with Reverend John Miles officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
