Denise Thomas

Mildred Denise (Niecy) Thomas. 58, of Jonesboro entered her Heavenly Home Friday, May 13, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born October 8, 1963 in Jonesboro to the late Leveda Thomas and Joe Thomas Jr.

Denise enjoyed shopping and traveling. She also enjoyed visiting her friends.

In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Tatum, Robert (Peter) Tatum and Joe Thomas III.

She is survived by her brothers, Michael Thomas (Lucille) of Texas and Dennis  Thomas of Forrest City; sisters, Alfreda Hampton of Texas and Jackie Dixon of New Jersey; A special nephew that she helped raise, Dewayne Wright (Courtney) of New Jersey; A special niece she helped raise, LaTwuania Hampton (Marlon); An Aunt, Florida   Thomas-Sinclair of Flordia; her Godson, Christione Rufus of Jonesboro; a great-great nephew that she loved dearly, Ace Charles of Texas as well as a host of other beloved family and friends. Know that Denise loved us all very much. A very devoted aide, Sharon Alexander.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
