Denise Watkins Dickerson

Denise Watkins Dickerson, 49, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on April 27, 1966 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Herman and Floy Watkins. She was a member of the Willis Chapel Pentecostal Church and enjoyed singing and going to church.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Floy Watkins; sister, Patsy Watkins.

Denise is survived by her sons, Eric Morgan, Thomas Dickerson, and Timothy Dickerson; daughter, Tiffany Watkins; brothers, Randall Watkins (Dana), Charles Watkins (Dawnyal), and Derek Watkins (Brenda); sister, Cindy Watkins; and one granddaughter, Jamilyn Duty.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Tony Becker officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with active pallbearers being Kyle Watkins, Nathan Watkins, Eric Morgan, Zack Truxler, Ronnie Bounds, and Ted Vowell. The honorary pallbearers will be Randall Watkins, Charles Watkins, Derek Watkins, Timothy Dickerson, Thomas Dickerson, Doug Morgan, and Josh Patton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
