Denise Wynn Bartlett, 50, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Memphis, Denise has lived in Jonesboro since 1990. She was a Certified Anesthesia Technician for The Surgical Hospital of Jonesboro and had been employed by the hospital since it was founded. Denise was a 1978 graduate of Horn Lake, Mississippi High School and was a member of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.

Denise was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Wynn.

Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary Bartlett of Jonesboro;
Her mother, Winnie Pyles Wynn of Memphis;
Her fiancé, Chuck Bowers of Lake City; and
2 brothers, Donald Wynn of Oxford, Mississippi, and Bobby Lanahan of Duck Hill, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. A graveside committal service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 in Duck Hill Cemetery at Duck Hill, Mississippi with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers include Ben Campbell, Steve Rauls, Joe Jordan, Tim Gibson, George Richards, Greg Ricca, Jeff Patterson and David Bartlett.

Honorary pallbearers include Ryan Jones, Chase Cooper, Jake Henderson, James Cooper, Dr. Sunil Gera, Dr. Bryan Lansford, and associates of The Surgical Hospital of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.

The family asks that memorials be forwarded to The Denise Bartlett Memorial Educational Fund at Simmons First Bank of Jonesboro, 1720 S. Caraway Rd., Jonesboro, AR 72401.
