Dena Nicholson Villani

December 3, 1950 — March 25, 2010

Dena Nicholson Villani, 59, of Jonesboro, died Thursday night, March 25, 2010 at her home. She has lived in Jonesboro for the past six years, moving here from Tuckerman, Arkansas. She was a member of the Fisher Street United Methodist Church. Dena performed in several Foundation of the Arts productions, Father of the Bride, Little Women, Steel Magnolias, Oh No, Not Them, and was also in the Dinner Theater, The Disco Show. She was the past president of the United Methodist Women in Tuckerman’s First United Methodist Church. Dena was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Villani, and her father, Raymond Lee Nicholson Jr.

Survivors include her son, Awston Cullum, Jonesboro; daughter, Heather Michaels, Orange County, California; mother, Glenda Miller, Jonesboro; brother, Raymond Lee Nicholson III, El Cajon, California; sisters, Jamie Crain and husband Mark, Jonesboro; Linda Campbell and husband, Craig, Strawberry, Arkansas; Lyn Schulte, Long Beach, California; Gay Jura, Long Beach, California.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Tuckerman United Methodist Church.
