Demarius “Dee” Flowers, 29, of Jonesboro, passed away from this life on January 6, 2021 at his home. He was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro. He had a contagious smile that would light up a room and made everyone feel happier around him. He loved to travel especially to the beach and enjoyed playing his guitar. He was such a kind and sweet soul who loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his big sister, Tyrina Cornwell and his grandmother, Shirley Cothren.
Survivors include his parents, Will and Cathy Amiths of Jonesboro, brother Dameon Washington of Walnut Ridge, sister April Flowers of Jonesboro, nephews DaShawn Washington, Javiar Cornwell, nieces Latoya Cornwell and Meleena Washington, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be at 1:00 on Thursday, January 14, 2021 with a Memorial service beginning at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Family and friends are welcome at the memorial service but the burial will be private.
