Demarcus Troy Kirby

Demarcus Troy Kirby of Jonesboro, went home unexpectedly May 14, 2020 at the age of
29 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Demarcus was born to Simeon Bass and Miriam Howard September 1, 1990 in Chicago, IL.

Demarcus was a big loving teddy bear with a heart
that was too big. He was a loyal friend to all, and kind enough to
always try to help someone else even at his own expense. He was
preceded in death by his father Simeon Bass and his daughter Journee Sincere
Kirby.

Survivors include Miriam Howard, of Jonesboro, AR, Clyde
Jefferson, of Jonesboro, AR, Marquin Howard, of Vilonia, AR, Phishon
Bass, of Jonesboro, AR, and Demaron Bass of Little Rock, AR.

To sum up the life of Demarcus, his life was anything but simple. He
was a loving brother and a respected friend. He was a humble student,
momma's boy, and he was a living example of tenacity. All he ever
wanted was to be someone respectable and set an example for others. He
wanted to prove that even though life can be tough, if we persist and
stand strong, we can be someone that matters. He proved that a
person's worth is not defined by how much they have, but rather by the
lives they touch.

Although he is no longer with us in person, he will
never truly be gone. He will live on through the lives he touched and
will truly be missed.
