Deloris Turman White, 74, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro. She loved to garden, and read. Deloris was an avid animal loved. She was a devoted and loving wife and soulmate. Deloris worked as an LPN at St. Bernards, David Puryear, and Mid-South Health Systems. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Toddy, her parents and one sister.
Survivors include her husband and soulmate since 1979, Melvin White of the home; brothers, Burl Turman, and Steven Turman; sister, Devona Brown (Billy) all of Jonesboro; nephew, Chad Brown (Cindy); very special friends, Diane Masterson, Marilyn Liles, Doris Nall and Pat Blake of Jonesboro; very special puppies, Babydoll and Tinkerbell of the home.
