Deloris M. White

Deloris M. White, 87, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Paragould, Deloris lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro where she was a founding member of Celebrate Recovery. She was a Realtor and worked over 47 years in the real estate profession and was an active member of the Northeast Arkansas Realtors Association where she was a member of their Hall of Fame.

Deloris was an avid supporter of Arkansas State University athletics and member of the Red Wolves Touchdown and Fast Break Clubs. She was an active supporter of the Out of the Dark program in Jonesboro.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Ethel Brewer Thorne; husband, Rollo White; son Robbie White and brother Tommy Thorne.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Tommy and Karen Daniel White of Jonesboro;

one sister, Anna Adkins of Jonesboro;

two grandchildren, Dustin and Maria Munoz White of Jonesboro, and Zac White of Little Rock;

two great grandchildren, Gabby White and Alexa White; and

several nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Private burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral service from 1:00-2:00 in the Chapel. Active pallbearers include Steve Doty, Barry Phillips, Dan Phillips, Steve Phillips David Bettis, and Steve Orr.

Per the Arkansas Health Department guidelines for indoor gatherings, face masks or coverings will be required to be properly worn while inside Emerson Chapel. Social distancing will be clearly marked and adhered to.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that consideration be given to First Baptist Church Care Center, 701 S. Main St., Jonesboro, AR 72401, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
