Delores Robinson

Delores Robinson, age 63, departed this life on October 26, 2024, at her home. She was born on August 10, 1961, in Turrell, Arkansas, to the late Roosevelt and Hilda Combs. Delores found great joy in spending time with her family, especially keeping her beloved great-grandchildren close. She was a dedicated member of her church and enjoyed sharing many moments with her daughter, cooking family meals, watching The Andy Griffith Show, and listening to gospel music, which brought her much comfort and joy. Delores was a member of Refreshing Spring Church in Jonesboro.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her devoted husband, Curtis Robinson of Jonesboro; her loving daughter, Shelisa Simmons (Alonzo) of Jonesboro; three brothers, Avon Gaithers (Louise), James Combs (Ella Mae), and Harrison Combs (Aneita); five sisters, Rosemary Andrews, Beatrice Petty (Calvin), Mary Harris, Elizabeth Spivey (Tony), and Dorothy Thompson; one cherished grandchild, Damien Davis of Jonesboro; and six precious great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

Her loving spirit and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
