DeLora Jean May, age 63, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died early Wednesday morning, October 5, 2005, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Corning, Arkansas, Mrs. May lived in Peach Orchard and Paragould before moving to Jonesboro in 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dale May, and by her mother: Mildred Hovis Weaver.
Survivors include:
1 Son: Steve May of Jonesboro;
1 Daughter: Tammy Aucoin of Jonesboro;
Her Father: Melvin Weaver of Paragould; and
4 Grandchildren: Terayn Montgomery, Mayc Montgomery, Drake May, and Jackson May, all of Jonesboro.
A memorial service will be held Friday morning, October 7, 2005, at 11:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Dr. Tad Rogers and Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will be private.
Active pallbearers include: Scott Lemmons, Hunter Hanshaw, Mark Rose, Perry Winn, Larry Walker, and Jim May.
Visitation will be held Friday following the memorial service in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
