Delbert Roscoe Jenkins

Delbert Roscoe Jenkins, 69, of Marked Tree died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his home. He had lived in Marked Tree for 25 years, moving there from Lakeland, Florida. Delbert was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Alice Jenkins of the home; sons, Delbert Allen Jenkins; Joel T. Jenkins, both of Marked Tree; Lucas P. Jenkins (Jennifer) of Jonesboro; daughter, Debra Jenkins of Marked Tree; brothers, Ellis Jenkins of Lakeland Florida; Douglas Jenkins of Bono; sister, Nellie Orr of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Alisha Carpenter, Ashley Jenkins, Hunter Young, Alex Arcement and Matthew Dalton; great grandchildren, Debra Alicen Smith and Rex Cooper.

A memorial service will be 6:00 PM, Wednesday night, June 5, 2013 at Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree with Freddy Muse officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. All other services will be private. To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
