Debra Yvonne Simpson

Debra Yvonne Simpson, 69, of Jonesboro passed away from this life Sunday, August 18, 2024.
She was born November 12, 1954, to the late James and Gustavah Goad. In addition to her
parents: she was preceded in death by three brothers, Shelby Thompson, Jim Goad and Dean
Goad. Survivors include husband Robert Simpson; one daughter Patricia Ladeau; one
granddaughter Avah Davis; three brothers, Larry Thompson, Wayne (Delores) Goad and
Danny (Pam) Goad.

She was the only girl in the family with six brothers. She was the first one to tell you that a girl
can do anything a boy can do but better. She had a bit of a competitive nature. She loved to be
outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. She could drive anything with four wheels. She loved
music and concerts. She will be missed greatly by her family.

There will be a visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home with a
graveside service to follow at 12:30 at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
