Debra Darlene Lancaster, 53, of Jonesboro, died Friday afternoon at her home.
Born in Houma, Louisiana, Mrs. Lancaster lived in Earle, Parkin, and Wynne before moving to Jonesboro 6 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Parkin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lancaster, and her parents: William and Varal Tippen Cockerham.
Survivors include:
3 Daughters: Melissa Brawner of Fayetteville, and Kami Lancaster-Babin, and Ashley Lancaster, both of Jonesboro;
3 Brothers: Ronnie Cockerham of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Donnie Cockerham, and Bobby Cockerham, both of Houma, Louisiana; and
1 Granddaughter: Mandy Babin of Jonesboro.
A memorial service will be held Monday evening, June 25, 2007, at 6:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. Visitation will follow the service in the chapel.
For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the NEA Humane Society in Jonesboro.
