Deborah Lynn Klingensmith,58 , of Lorado, died Tuesday evening, March 26, 2013, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Jonesboro, Debbie grew up in the Walcott community and attended Greene County Tech High School. She lived in New Orleans and Atlanta before moving back to the Jonesboro-Lorado area in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Fellowship Church in Jonesboro. She enjoyed home decorating, flowers and vegetable gardening. She had a special Shih Tzu buddy named “Destiny” and was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Fern Smith Tennison, and by 2 sisters: Joyce Speed and Pat Adams.

Survivors include her husband, David Klingensmith of the home;

1 son and his wife: Tim and Vanessa Matlock of Paragould;

2 step sons and their wives: C.J. and Amy Klingensmith and Justin and Amy Klingensmith, all of Paragould;

1 sister and her husband, Linda and Star Faulkner of Walcott;
1 brother-in-law, Paul Adams of Finch; and

6 grandchildren: Kinley Matlock, Katelyn Ridge, Kylee Ridge, Alexis Klingensmith, Emma Klingensmith and Isabella Klingensmith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastors Dave Burgess and Chad Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Tim Matlock, Tony Faulkner, C.J. Klingensmith, Justin Klingensmith, Star Faulkner and Mike Blackwood. Paul Adams and Chad Wood will be honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
