Deborah Lee Davis

Deborah Lee Davis, 66, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital. Born on October 13, 1957, in Peoria, Illinois, Deborah lived in Jonesboro for the past 17 years, having moved from her home state of Illinois.

Deborah had a zest for life and a variety of interests that brought her joy. She was an avid shopper, always on the lookout for a great find. She found solace and pleasure in reading, often getting lost in the pages of a good book. Crossword puzzles were another favorite pastime, showcasing her love for words and her sharp mind.

Deborah is survived by her significant other, Jackie Turpin, who was her loving companion and partner. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Sheryl Nakao and Julie McDonald, who shared in her life's journey.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A service will be announced on Emerson Funeral Home’s website in the near future.
