Debbie Jane Hollingsworth

Debbie Jane Hollingsworth, 62, passed from this life Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 9, 1953 to James Samuel and Mabel Jane Bradley in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was a life-long Jonesboro resident. Debbie was a member of Central Baptist Church. She had a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Arkansas State University. Debbie was a firm believer in homeschooling and taught all three of her children who are now college graduates. She also taught other children art lessons for more than 20 years. Her love for children inspired her to work in Sunday school and in the nursery for ten years. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Jack Hollingsworth Jr. and her father, James Samuel Bradley.

Survivors include her son, Luke Aaron Hollingsworth; daughters, Hannah Beth Hollingsworth and Elisabeth Ann Hollingsworth; mother, Mabel Jane Bradley; Brother Wes Bradley; grandchildren, Kaedyn Hollingsworth, Kenzie Hollingsworth and Cash Hollingsworth.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Central Baptist Church with Rex Holt officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Aaron James Hollingsworth, Jake Coker, JD McGregor, Gene McMorries, Jim Hail, Tracey Clayton, Victor Woods and Russell Dupwe serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Riley and Larry Bailey.

A Visitation will be from 5-7 Monday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
