October 5, 1947 — July 24, 2009

Debbie Hannah, 61, of Jonesboro, died Friday at her home of natural causes.

A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Debbie worked 18 years as a switchboard operator for Mercantile Bank and Union Planters Bank of Jonesboro. She worked a few years for Liberty Bank of Jonesboro before retiring.

Debbie was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Georgia Clay Hannah.

Survivors include: 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Christie and Nick Orrick, and Amy and Jason Grubb, all of Jonesboro;

1 step son: Chris Brogan of Jonesboro;

2 brothers: Ray Hannah of Warsaw, Missouri, and Dale Hannah of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and

8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in Kellers Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Nick Orrick, Jason Grubb, Jake Harvey, Zack Grubb, Bob Mingus, and Jared Harvey.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
