Dean L. McGlothin, 56, of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home. He had lived in Walnut Ridge for four years, moving there from Batesville. He served his country in the US Navy for over 13 years. He loved trips to the lake with his wife, children, and friends. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed his Roadking. Dean enjoyed leather working among other crafts. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda McGlothin of the home; son, Cory Waddell (McKenzie); daughters, Courtney Waddell (Dylan); Tabatha O’Brian (Martin); father, Floyd McGlothin; 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Egypt, Arkansas with Jonny “Souldier” Surber officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery near Cash with Tear Drop, Pops, Big Rodger, Slim, Monk, Topher, Cholo, Earl and Bam-Bam serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
