Dean Dwight Goad

Dean Dwight Goad, 62, of Jonesboro passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on May 5, 1961 to James and Gustavah Goad in St. Louis, Missouri. Dean is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jim Goad.

Dean lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area. He retired from Coca-Cola in 2022 after working for 32 years. Dean loved fishing, playing the guitar, and family poker weekends. Dean also enjoyed being outdoors.

Dean is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tonia Goad of the home; brothers, Wayne Goad of Jonesboro, Danny Goad of Jonesboro, and Larry Thompson of Springdale; and sister, Debra Simpson of Jonesboro.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
