Dean Dunavant

Dean Dunavant, 81, of Jonesboro, died Friday at Jonesboro Healthcare Center. She was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her life here. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Dean loved taking care of kids and camping in Missouri.

She is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Marvin Dunavant; her children, David (Kathy) Dunavant, Jonesboro, Fred (Pam) Dunavant, Conway, Nancy (Ernie) Smith, Ginger Dunavant, all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Mandy (Kevin) Wiley, Hunter Dunavant, Joshua (Tina) Dunavant, Jessica Dunavant, Breeze Dunavant; great grandchildren, Jacob Dunavant, Mary Lynn Wiley, Clara Beth Wiley, Domnic Dunavant, Camden Hall, and Kaliah Oates.

Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Irene Barrow Marbury.

All services are private under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
