Davina Jean Burgos Avalos, 27, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Originally from Guam, Davina had been residing in Jonesboro for the past 14 months. She was of the Catholic belief. She was a gifted musician who loved singing, listening to music, playing the guitar, and the piano. Her hobbies consisted of reading, writing music, running, and caring for children and animals. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, and her special aunt and uncle, Mom Bert and Daddy Boyett.
She is survived by her parents, Hiram and Deborah Fagins of Jonesboro; her father, David Avalos of Boston Massachusetts; sisters, DeShayne Burgos of Jacksonville, Florida; Desiree Burgos of Tamuning, Guam; Deborah Makekau and husband, Isaac Makekau, of Jacksonville, Florida; and Ryan Guajardo and her husband, Cristiano Guajardo of St. Johns, Michigan; nephews, Aiden Burgos, Enrique Guajardo, and Nehoa Makekau Jr; niece Isabella Guajardo; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Monsignor Scott Friend officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Saturday. Burial will be private.
