David Troy Turner 44, loving father, husband, son and brother passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. David was born December 12, 1965 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Graduate from Nettleton High School. An employee with Con-Way Freight, INC. He was a valued, hard working man which enjoyed spending time with his family and his loving little buddy JJ, hunting, fishing, watching old westerns, playing fantasy football and keeping up to date with technology. He preceded in death by his father Dee Troy Turner.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years, Janet Turner, two daughters and one son, Ashley Turner and Kaitlynn Turner of the home and Allen Turner of Jonesboro, Arkansas. His mother, Carolyn Lamb of Jonesboro, Arkansas and two sisters and two brother-in-laws Julie Turner of Jonesboro, Michelle and Tommy Shirley of Marshall, Texas and Terry Vinson of Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was a loving Uncle to Savannah Shirley, Dakota Shirley, Crystal Welch, Laynce Welch and Peyton Welch all of Marshall, Texas and Kelsey Vinson, Brittany Vinson, Isabella Cockrell and Tristan Dixon all of Jonesboro, Arkansas. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday September 11, 2010 at 1 pm followed by a memorial celebrating his life at 2 pm with Bill Barber officiating at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
