David Thomas

William “David” Thomas, 65, of Bono passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his residence.

David was born in Pocahontas on August 26, 1952 to the late JD and Pearl Rush Thomas. He was a fun loving dad, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed being with his family every opportunity he could. He was an avid hunter and fishermen. He was a friend to many and he will be missed. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Bonnie Franks, Margie Cagle, and Brenda McMeans

He is survived by a wife, Petrina Thomas of Jonesboro; two daughters, Christy Hughes and Carla Thomas; three brothers, Jimmy Dale Thomas, Danny Thomas (Letitia), and Bill Thomas (Patricia) all of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mary Thomas of Bono and Pam Thomas of Alicia; one grandchild, Jaycee Hughes; and a host of other family, friends, and adopted children.

A funeral service will be at 3pm on Thursday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Kenny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3pm in the chapel. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers are Mark Cline, Charles Thomas, Daniel Ramos, Marty Ramsey, Dewayne Beatty, Chuck Foley, Steven Henderson, Russ Henderson, Trent Francis, and Mark Nichols.
