David Anthony Taylor

David Anthony “BJ” Taylor Jr. , 35, of Brookland passed from this life Tuesday, January 1, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born on June 25, 1983 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Rodney and Kim Authement. He has resided in northeast Arkansas for most of his life. BJ loved and played music. There wasn’t anything BJ couldn’t do. Most of all he was a loving and caring husband and father who cared so much for his family, especially his kids.

BJ is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Butch Holligan; paternal grandparents, Jim and Sue Hall; and brother, Ryan Simpson.

BJ is survived by his wife, Katie Taylor of the home; parents: Rodney (Kim) Authement of Walls, MS; son: Isaac Jude of Brookland; three daughters: Madilyn Mary Kathryn, Kaylie Ann, Scarlet Elizabeth all of Brookland; brother: Brandon Cain of Jonesboro.

A celebration of life will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Sage Meadows Clubhouse.

Burial will be private.
