David Wayne Laxton

David Wayne Laxton, 57, of Brookland, died January 23, 2012 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

He was born in Uchitemari, Okinawa and had lived in Brookland for 25 years. He was a truck driver for MC Express and an Air Force Veteran. He was a loving husband; father and his boys were the love of his life. He received his Bachelor degree in Fayetteville and his Master degree at Arkansas State University.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Grace St John Laxton.

Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Laxton of the home.

Sons; Justin Laxton (Samantha) of Wichita, Kansas, Jeremy Laxton of Little Rock and Andrew (Mary Bradley Laxton) of Brookland.

Father; Carl Laxton (Sueko) of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brothers; Rick Laxton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Robert Laxton of Bluefield, West Virginia, James Laxton of Star, Pennsylvania, Randy Laxton of Pittsburg, Pennslvania and George Laxton of Las Vegas, Nevada

Sister; Donna Schruben of Berkeley, California.

One grandchild; Cash Brooks Laxton.

All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
