David Reaves "Lefty" Grisham

David Reaves “Lefty” Grisham, 79, of Jonesboro passed from this life Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born October 5, 1938 in West Plains, Missouri to the late Lawrence Robert “Sam” and Norma Rhea Grisham. David attended the University of Arkansas and was a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

David was the owner of David’s Mens Store, Country Club Golf Carts and Co-owner of Grisham’s Incorporated and Grisham’s Art. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Jonesboro Country Club. David loved life, his family and his friends. He enjoyed spending time with them all.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Grovernel Gorham Grisham of the home; daughters, Greye Grisham (Scott) Winningham of Jonesboro; Shea Grisham (Bryan) Merville of Nashville, Tennesse; Marlo Grisham of Nashville, Tennesse; brother, Larry (Sherry) Grisham of Jonesboro and 4 grandchildren: Chandler Winningham of Jonesboro, Caroline Merville, Garrett Merville, Anna Clare Merville all of Nashville, Tennesse and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in the Sanctuary with Rev. Patty Soward officiating.

The family will be having a private graveside service with military honors prior to the memorial service.
