Mr. David Glen Cook, 63, of Jonesboro, departed this life suddenly on June 15, 2022, at his residence. He was born January 1, 1959 in Bridgeton, Missouri but lived the majority of his life here in Jonesboro.
David was a longtime restaurant manager, retiring from Cracker Barrel in early 2021. He enjoyed volunteering at various organizations, including the Salvation Army, USO, and a Assistant Scout Master for Scout Troop 3 in Jonesboro for several years. You could always find him rummaging, or tinkering with stuff and repairing it. He loved making people laugh and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. His pride and joy was spending every second he could with his kids and grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sylvia (Joe) Moore; paternal grandparents, William (Beulah) Cook; and one brother, Richard Cook, all of Jonesboro.
He is survived by his parents; Carl and Christine Cook, of Jonesboro. His loving wife of 44 years Mrs. Karen Cook of the home; one son, Timothy (Michelle) Cook of Indiana; his kids, Timothy, Devon, Benjamin, Johnathan, Lydia; one daughter, Ashley (William) Blaylock of Greers Ferry, AR; and her kids, Alexis, Cristian, Lyam, Kendahl.
