David Allen Archibald

David Allan Archibald, 79, of Jonesboro Arkansas, passed away on April 6, 2026 at the Flo and Phil Hospice House. He was born on October 29, 1946 in Los Angeles, California to the late Robert and Hazel Archibald.

David proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later retired after many years of dedicated service. He had a passion for travel, a keen interest in electronics, and most importantly, cherished the time he spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Archibald and Hazel Martin; his brother, Ronald Hugh Archibald; and his son, David Archibald.

David is survived by his son, Sean Archibald (Amy) of Bolivar, Missouri; his daughter, Cindy McCarthy of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and his beloved grandchildren, Logan McCarthy, Riley McCarthy, and Parker McCarthy, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Lori Rauche, Cody Archibald, and Malissa Archibald, all of Missouri. He is also survived by his nieces, Kim Archibald and Robin Archibald, both of Utah, and his nephew, Robert Archibald of Utah as well as 6 great grandchildren.
