Daveta Moody

Daveta Diann Moody, 34, of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Jonesboro, died July 7, 2012 at her home. Born in Rockford, Illinois, she had lived in Conroe for the past 6 years. Daveta was the manager of a restaurant and loved working. She also enjoyed swimming, liked cars, fishing, and riding 4 wheelers.

She is survived by her husband, James Moody, Jr.; her children, Hunter Thomas and Summer Moody; her parents, David & Beverly Thomas; and her sister, Tomazene Payton all of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Franklin Thomas, Pearl Coots, Henry Nelson, and Virginia Brown.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Community Church of Christ, 108 Woodrow, Jonesboro with Louann Lasley officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
