Darren Lee Pruitt

Darren “Redd” Lee Pruitt, 54 of Jonesboro departed this life on, Friday, April 7, 2023, at St. Bernard’s hospital.

He was born on the Army base in Fort Leonard Wood, MO on September 26, 1968.  He was preceded in death by his parents Rodger L. Pruitt and Glynda L. Wallace.

He is survived by a daughter Kristine Pruitt of Jonesboro; a son, Justin (Jessica) Pruitt; three grandsons, Daryl Lee Pruitt, Robert Chandler Pruitt, and Maximus Owen Pruitt all of Bono; Three brothers, Douglas (Kassie) Pruitt of Jonesboro; Jim (Connie) Pruitt of Murfreesboro, TN Mark (Rhonda) Pruitt of Jonesboro. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 1-2 p.m., at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that consideration be given to St. Bernard’s Dialysis Center in Jonesboro or the National Kidney Foundation.
