Darrell W. Cline, 68, of Bono, died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the VA in Memphis. He had lived in Bono most of his life. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Darrell was an over the road trucker for over 30 years, driving for L & L Truck Brokers. He loved the outdoors by enjoying gardening, fishing and hunting. He raised many different types of animals including, chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys and geese. Spending time with his family was a very important pastime for Darrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilda and Thomas Cline; a brother, Joe Cline and a sister, Gentry Mullins.
Survivors include his son, Jamie Cline; daughter Mandy Johnson (Todd); brother, Ronnie Cline (Angie) all of Bono; sister, Judy Lawrence (Tommy) of Powhattan; grandchildren, Jake Johnson and Brady Johnson and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Todd Johnson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Jim Wilson, Rob Carrick, Roger Patterson, Gary Schlueter, B.J. Schlueter, and Billy Watts. Honorary pallbearers are his fellow employees at L & L Truck Brokers.
