Danny Franklin Mayfield

Danny Mayfield, 68, a lifelong resident of Weiner, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House. He was born in Jonesboro on January 1, 1956, to the late Willie and Gladys Mayfield.

After graduating high school, he attended Southern State Technical Institute in Camden, AR, and received an associate degree in Art. In his spare time, he loved to go to the lake in Heber to ride his jet ski and spend time with friends.

He is survived by his sister Angela Glenn (Bill) of Fisher; brother Troy Mayfield (Linda) of Batesville; nieces Randy Gillean Tracy Woodruff and Kristin Calderhead; nephew Jerry Mayfield; uncle Leonard Mayfield of Memphis; and a host of other family friends, and loved ones. He will be missed.
